Prince Charles, Mutual Dreaming, PAN and the summer solstice: no, we’re not going to wax on about druids or feed you any new-age aphorisms, but rather highlight a true chance encounter. Aurora Halal’s New York-based party crew Mutual Dreaming descends upon the German capital this Thursday to play a once-in-a-year show with PAN, the Berlin label standing on the precipice between experimental and dance-heavy electronic music. Jason Letkiewicz, also known as Steve Summers, delivers live Chicago-oriented house jams with a distinctively gritty, restless momentum. Alongside Halal, he’ll also present the German debut of INNERGAZE, their psychedelic live act that’s equal parts industrial and house. Rounding them up will be Heatsick, presenting the newest articulations of his improvisational live set. Expect shakers and Brazilian whistles.
It all starts off at 2PM in the open-air spot behind Prince Charles, arrive early for Japanese food and the peerless roster of DJs that will be building up for the evening’s live sets. Check out the full info here.
